Tax Fraud/Evasion

Tax evasion is a crime. Tax avoidance is not a crime. The two are often confused by both prosecutors and less than adequate defense lawyers. We have successfully defended and or negotiated settlements in numerous tax evasion cases.

We generally decline to represent those people who are generically referred to as tax protesters. The tax laws are constitutional. We defend the violation of them not the repeatedly resolved question of whether they themselves exist legally.
