Mail or Wire Fraud

Mail and wire fraud are the godchildren of federal prosecutors and represents the federal government’s vehicle for charging any type of actual or imagined dishonesty. There are no two mail or wire fraud cases the same and the Government has seriously overused the statutes in recent years.

The United States Supreme Court has recently restricted their use of these statutes. In one 120 count indictment our client was acquitted of all of the courts he was charged with. After 16 weeks of trial Joe asked the jury not just to find out client not guilty of everything but to do it quickly. They did it in three hours.
